Membership Options:

Associate Member

Associate members serve on various committees that are vital to the daily operations of the company. Some of the committees are membership, hall rentals, building maintenance, grounds, fund raising, etc. New members must complete one (1) year of probationary membership and meet all requirements for this position.

Yearly Requirements:

  • Maintain 25 LOSAP points.
  • Attend 6 company meetings.
  • Complete 7 fund raising hours.

Active Firefighter

Active Firefighter members run calls of service ranging from fire, EMS, rescue, and other areas. Members must be 18 years of age or over. New members must complete one (1) year of probationary membership and meet all requirements for this position.

Training Requirements:

  • Firefighter I
  • CPR
  • Hazardous Materials
  • Blood-borne Pathogens

Yearly Requirements:

  • 10 Emergency responses per year.
  • Maintain 25 LOSAP points.
  • Attend 4 company meetings.
  • Complete 7 fund raising hours.
  • Complete 9 training hours per quarter

Apprentice Firefighter

Apprentice Firefighter members shall be at least 16 years of age and not reached their 18th birthday. New members will be on probationary membership status until they reach their 18th birthday or achieved all required training. Whichever is later.


  • Maintain a "C" average in all school subjects.
  • Must leave the firehouse by 10pm on school nights.
  • Shall have written consent of their parents and/or legal guardians
  • Shall Have parent and/or legal guardian present during interview process

Application Process

  • Complete the online membership application below.
  • Contact the Membership Committee to schedule an application processing appointment at
  • Bring the $50 application fee in the form of cash or check  the day of the application processing appointment. (Fee waived for laderal entry)
  • Complete a oral interview with the membership committee.
  • Take a drug screening within 48 hours of the application processing appointment through Quest Diagnostics

After completing the application,drug screening, and interview the membership committee will perform a background check and contact your references.

Once all steps of the application process are completed and background check is clear, the application must be accepted by a vote of the membership at a monthly membership meeting.
